Many thanks for your reply. I knew it was simple, but couldn,t remember what I did. Dopey was hitting the new scan icon only and not the little scroll down arrow for the menu with new bullscript scan. Cheers Grant |

Hi Grant When you create a new scan, you can choose to create either a "new scan" or a "new bullscript scan". If you choose the later, then you can just plonk your formulae directly into the scan. If you choose the former, then you can still use Bullscript formulae by via Scan Criteria/New/ and then selecting "uses bullscript" from the "First value" window....in this case, the condition window should be set to "is true" Hope this helps...good luck

Hi Peter
When I first started using bullcharts I prepared my custom scans using bullscript formulae the same way as making a custom indicator. My old computor recently died on me and I have reloaded bullcharts. In my attempts to re-set up my old scans I have been unable to remember how I set them up previously. The only way I can find to set up my scan now is via the create new scan which uses the verbal type scan criteria and not just straight formulae. I attempted to use the formula I have for my scans through the indicator builder in case it worked, but this failed me. With this newer version of Bullcharts, is there a way that I can just type in the formulae [eg C>hist(HHV(c,15),1), and C>ma(C,30,W)]? Thanks Grant |
