The easiest way to work around volume spikes at the moment is:
  1. Scroll to another part of the chart that doesn't have the spike (so that the scale is more relevant).
  2. Right click on the volume axis and unselect Auto Scale Values
  3. Scroll back to the part of the chart you want to look at
It's not perfect - but it does the job. We'll think about how we can make this easier for future versions.

I've noticed that sometimes when a stock has exceptionally high volume, it makes it difficult to observe the volume highs for the rest of the chart, as the strong peak makes all other peaks miniscule in comparison.

I remember reading somewhere that some programs can account for this by making some kind of visual change to exceptionally high volume peaks thus allowing you to better analyse the rest of the volume. Does anyone know how to do this at all, and can it be done in Bullcharts.
