So you can't do any studies from the index you create as such, I think.&nbsp;I think (hope)&nbsp;a true index function in BC&nbsp;is&nbsp;still be on the to-do list eg see Peters post above.]]>

At the moment it doesn't appearpossible to have anything other than the ASX company code as the mainor 'parent' pane, that all other panes derive their data from. Would itbe possible to have the index (or any other user defined 'signal') asthe 'parent' pane so that 'child' panes could show line studies of theindex?. <br>]]>

I'll add that to my task list<img src="http://www.bullcharts.com.au/forum/smileys/smiley20.gif" border="0">.(It'll probably need to wait until the WatchLists are a bit moreadvanced - so that there's some way you can control the weighting ofeach security).<br><br>Though at the moment you can obviously chart the existing S&amp;P/ASX indices. Eg XMJ for all materials companies in the ASX200.<br>]]>
