    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://www.bullcharts.com.au/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=32" rel="nofollow">chart rider</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 424<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 19&nbsp;Jun&nbsp;2007 at 8:39pm<br /><br /><P>Vito</P><P>There's actually no programming in TradeSim; all the programming is done in Bullcharts and the interface between Bullcharts and TradeSim is very user friendly.</P><P>If you are able to&nbsp;write indicators in Bullcahrts, then you are ready for backtesting.</P><P>In earlier days I used to backtest by writing specialised indicators in Bullcharts only and in this way was able to develop a strategy that I've been using ever since.</P><P>Using TradeSim adds another dimension and makes the job alot easier and more reliable.</P><P>The Compuvision web site has some good articles about backtesting worth reading.</P><P>If you're going to trade seriously, in my view, a backtester such as TradeSim is essential and worth every cent.</P><P>CR</P>]]>
