I agree with all you,ve stated above and i,m sure with time the chart will back you accordingly.

Been on holidays and only returned a few days ago.....little hasty perhaps with analysis!.

I also saw FGL's horizontal channel, but I couldn't persuade myself to go short, because:
1. Bollinger's volatility breakout sytem gave a buy signal last week.
2. The takeover is almost complete, so a breakout at this time makes sense.
3. One of the directors bought 35000 shares @ 5.28 recently.

I,m no financial advisor and as such all content should be viewed with that in mind!.

Feel this one is self explanitary.But my view for all those who differ,would be to short with looking for support at bottom blue line.
