Hmm. That should work, but doesn't. I'll look into it.

However, rather than scanning on the GICS code, it's better to use thesecurities tab to select the security groups that you want. The scanwill run faster that way as only relevant securities are loaded,instead of all securities. (though depending on what you're trying to scan for exactly, this may not be suitable)

I have tried numerous ways of scanning the GICS code, but can't seem to get it to work. For example, scan for all stocks with a GICS code of 12345678 (or whatever the exact code is). The scan results are zero. I tried substituting the built-in scan for market cap eg security.marketcap (which works) but security.GICS does not work. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?
