However I need to refine it toshow only those charts where the volume has moved above the 30 EMAin the past 3 days. Click on the New scan button and enter a name for the scan
2. Select the "Scan Criteria" tab and press the "New..."
3. Set the first value to "Is a price or chart field" and select "Volume"
4. Leave the condition as "Is greater than"
5. Change the second value to "Is an Indicator" and select the indicator called "Moving Average - Volume"
6. Press the parameters button
7. Select Method = Exponential and Time period = 30
8. Press OK and OK. You're ready to scan . Press Apply and Run

Notes:
1. It's possible to just use the "Moving Average" indicator and selectthe volume expression, but if you create a linked chart then it willput the MA on the price axis - which probably isn't what you want forvolume.
2. At any given time, approx half of all securities are at aboveaverage volume. You might consider changing your requirement tosomething like "is greater than average volume + 50%", or "has crossedabove average volume in the last 5 day", as some examples.
I specifocally want to scan for shares that have their volume above a 30 EMA.

If anyone can also help me to create a scan of moving average crossovers combined with the above vol/EMA I'd appreciate it.
